about this team

A fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team who are responsible for development of innovative materials using various technologies including (and not limited to): knit, woven, seamless, flat & warp knitting.


a day in the life: what you’ll do

The Raw Materials Developer is a technical fabric expert who is passionate about executing seasonal and long range developments related to specific pods. They lead from a place of inquiry and apply reason and critical thinking to analyze and improve process and product offerings.


qualifications

  • 5 years of apparel industry experience, with at least 4 in raw materials development
  • Skill set showcases success commercializing product on various calendar tracks
  • Strong technical knowledge of performance developments & execution
  • Collaborative team player, knowledge of cross functional team accountabilities and requirements - including design, sourcing, merchandising and quality assurance
  • Strong understanding of commercialization process from design concept through bulk
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including analytical, problem solving, and diplomacy
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Adobe Illustrator , PLM, and Microsoft office applications)
  • Detailed understanding of product creation calendar timeline and ability to work to deadlines for multiple overlapping seasons
  • Attention to detail, problem solving capabilities, multi tasking, and elite organizational skills

compensation and benefits package 
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $96,800 - $127,100 CAD annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.

workplace arrangement

This role is classified as Hybrid under our SSC Workplace Policy:  

  • In-person collaboration is important, and much of the role can be performed remotely. Work is performed onsite at least 3 days per week.
