about this team

Retail Brand Experience is responsible for leading the concepting, development and implementation of the NA visual merchandising and retail experience strategies. They manage the Regional VM team across North America, supporting and developing the team and driving an elevated level of brand and product storytelling across the fleet of 400+ stores, and they create planning strategy, VM layout, and store opening execution of all new NA stores, revitalizations, pop ups, and seasonal stores. 


a day in the life: what you’ll do

  • Develop, inspire & coach a high-level of talent to drive and execute on company goals in a product-led business. Provide sound leadership in a fast-paced, high growth entrepreneurial environment.
  • Create and manage the NA brand and product storytelling vision, strategy and initiatives, ensuring an exceptional guest experience in all retail store locations. Ensure Retail Brand Experience strategies support and drive Brand, Product Merchandising, and Channel strategies.
  • Drive visual merchandising planning and execution of new store openings and revitalizations
  • Oversee all visual merchandising, retail concept development, seasonal brand initiative activation and product launch experience across the NA marketplace and drive all executional capabilities.
  • Oversee the development of all NA windows, signage, visual merchandising, and all seasonal and 365 product storytelling strategies
  • Lead, train and develop a team of retail storytellers by challenging and inspiring them to continually look for new opportunities to increase sales through appealing and effective visual displays


qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience leading visual merchandising, retail marketing, retail design, and experience design for a consumer-focused global brand
  • An undergraduate degree in merchandising, design, fashion, or other creative disciplines required
  • Broad scope regional retail experience required
  • Strong management and leadership experience, creating and developing high performing global teams
  • Proven ability to work with and lead a cross functional team

Compensation and Benefits Package 
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $187,400 - $246,000 CADannually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and equity offerings, subject to program eligibility requirements.

This role is classified as Hybrid under our SSC Workplace Policy: In-person collaboration is important, and much of the role can be performed remotely. Work is performed onsite at least 4 days per week.
