About this team

The Inventory Systems team is responsible for managing the Inventory platform at lululemon, ensuring an accurate view of Inventory across the globe for our stores, warehouses, and financial systems. In addition to Inventory, this team manages audited sales, stock ledger, and a centralized price master. The Senior Technology Manager – Inventory Systems will lead key technology strategies in partnership with teams across the enterprise. This role involves managing the teams that drive and support Inventory Systems. We are seeking a proven leader with experience in developing a strong leadership bench. The department's scope integrates across Order Management, Warehouse Management, Retail Systems, and the Global Data Analytics platform. The new leader will also partner with Enterprise Architecture and Engineering to evolve technology in support of enterprise initiatives, as we continue to scale and modernize our systems.

A day in the life:

  • Define the 3–5-year strategy for one or more areas within the Corporate Finance and Inventory Technology department.
  • Manage the Capex and Opex for the department (for the defined scope of applications) and ensure value is delivered against spending.
  • Ensure business service SLAs are met for all services.
  • Manage the engineering team, providing technical expertise in the design, build, and launch of new systems supporting multiple stakeholders.
  • Build, lead, and scale an exceptionally talented team of engineers and architects.
  • Partner with enterprise architecture, PMO, and business teams to implement optimal technology solutions.
  • Define processes needed to achieve and sustain operational excellence, including project delivery and systems reliability.


  • Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant experience in the information technology field.
  • 12+ years of experience in enabling key business priorities through the successful delivery and support of technology, including 6+ years as a people leader overseeing a broad range of talent across multiple work locations.
  • Direct experience in leading and developing people and teams is required.
  • 7+ years of experience in Inventory-related processes, Revenue and Inventory Accounting, and the Supply Chain domain.
  • Experience with cloud ecosystems (OCI, AWS, or Azure) is required.
  • Experience with Oracle Retail platforms, such as RMS, RPM, RESA, is highly valued.
  • Proven experience leading engineering teams focused on seamless data integration using modern architecture (e.g. Kafka, Snowflake).

Compensation and Benefits Package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $158,900 - $208,500 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
