about this team

 

The EMEA accounting team owns the statutory financial statements and statutory financial audit process for all required European entities, manages the month end accounting and financial reporting for our operations across Europe, and supports our business partners with operational processes such as invoicing and payment, cash management, etc.


 a day in the life: what you’ll do

  • Prepare the statutory financial statements and manage the statutory financial audit process, working closely with external auditors, the global finance team, and local service providers.
  • Review and reconcile key accounts and post monthly journal entries for month end reporting.
  • Review monthly financial results and lead the actual to forecast variance analysis.
  • Prepare turnover rent certificates on a monthly and quarterly basis. 
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support New Store Openings across the region.
  • Manage other ad-hoc audit and reporting requests.
  • Identify continuous improvements in existing processes and ways of working.

 

qualifications, skills & experience 

  • Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting or related field. 
  • Working towards professional accountancy qualification. (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
  • 2+ years experience working in finance or similar professional field.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
