about this team

The Digital Analytics + Optimization team is responsible for Data Collection, Digital Analytics, A/B Testing and Personalization on lululemon digital properties.

The Manager, Product Management provides coaching and mentorship to product managers and the team, high-level direction, guidance and prioritization on the Data Collection and Protection team roadmap.

a day in the life: what you’ll do

  • Work with agile development teams to ensure tracking of feature builds following business objectives
  • Develop processes and documentation for data collection and QA
  • Work with engineering and legal teams to ensure our properties are compliant with legislations such as CCPA and GDPR
  • Support an ongoing roadmap of analytics improvements
  • Partner with quality assurance to ensure data collection integrity
  • Implement tagging across a variety of digital properties to ensure proper data collection
  • Maintain data collection implementation
  • Maintain and build data collection across digital properties leveraging the lululemon Analytics Module, data layers, data attributes and other CSS selectors
  • Enable and support A/B testing and optimization
  • Work with the digital marketing team to ensure end-to-end tracking of campaigns
  • Advise on processes and documentation for A/B Tests and reporting
  • Technical advise on team processes, tools and roadmap


  • In-depth knowledge of analytics implementations for web
  • Knowledge of Adobe Analytics and Adobe Launch (or similar tagging system)
  • Passion for building, keeping and evangelizing best-practices for data collection
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional partners such as product managers, business analysts, developers and marketers
  • Front-end development skills: JavaScript, HTML, CSS
  • Problem-solving skills: using tools such as Charles Proxy, ObservePoint and developer console to diagnose and solve issues
  • Ability to independently deliver analytics projects with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional partners such as product managers, business analysts, developers and marketers.
