About This Team

The Global Engineering department unites a global supply chain collective rooted in strategic vision and tactical excellence that delivers unsurpassed value to our internal partners, guests and shareholders in the areas of industrial engineering and reporting and analytics.  The Analyst, Engineering will support the Manager, Fulfillment Optimization and Distribution Centre (DC) Operations Managers in the pursuit of accurate, reliable reporting and analytics, and efficient, repeatable process standards. This position will work with DC stakeholders to identify inefficiencies in data usage and reporting gaps. The Analyst will collect, monitor and study business data to create custom reports in Cognos and PowerBI that help manage operations, control costs, and achieve objectives.  In addition, the Analyst, Engineering will be responsible to look at existing business processes and make specific recommendations about what data needs tracking and how it can be used to improve operations.

A Day In The Life

  • Develop reports that leverage our warehouse management system’s data, to support efficient DC operations and management
  • Through executive reports and analytics, support management team to prioritize suggested changes to each business segment such as inventory flow, labor optimization & scheduling, transactional data, outbound shipping, returns & Omni 
  • Enable insightful analytics by identifying different metrics to track for business performance improvement such as service, productivity and cost 
  • Deliver results using statistical methods to identify areas for operational improvement and make suggestions for streamlining processes 
  • Generate easy-to-interpret reports and presentations


  • 5+ years’ experience in data analysis & report creation
  • Highly proficient in SQL queries and authoring in Cognos reporting 
  • Experience with Manhattan WMS, and distribution centre processes
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft applications - Power BI, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word 
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, or related field of Engineering
