about this team

  • The Global Brand Insights team is a trusted partner in the development of long and short-range brand, community, and guest experience strategies. Our team enables brand, community, impact, and guest experience strategy development through the design, management, execution, analysis, synthesis, and delivery of consumer, competitive and cultural global insights. 
  • Key activities for our team include conducting primary (qualitative and quantitative) and secondary research to understand the behaviours, perceptions, values, and attitudes of lululemon’s current and potential global guests, brand equity across global markets, and developing, refining and evaluating the performance of brand and community initiatives. 

 

a day in the life: what you’ll do

The Global Brand Insights Senior Analyst will be responsible for leading critical Global Brand Marketing Measurement programs, including Global Brand Lift Studies, Quantitative and Qualitative Creative Testing, and other ad-hoc and syndicated campaign development and brand measurement initiatives. The Senior Analyst will also support on various other brand insights initiatives.

The Global Brand Insights Senior Analyst is crucial in supporting the powerful delivery of insights to inform and evaluate lululemon’s marketing strategies and initiatives.

 

responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of campaign and creative research, and brand lift measurement, including internal discovery and intake, screener/questionnaire/ discussion guide design, data analysis, and reporting. 
  • Partner with Global and Regional Marketing, Media, and Insights teams (i.e., social analytics, digital analytics, CRM, etc.) to provide a holistic evaluation of campaigns, identifying short- and long-term opportunities.
  • Create inspiring reports with compelling visualizations, a clear narrative, and meaningful and actionable insights, implications and recommendations for lululemon’s Brand, Creative and Media teams.
  • Leverage existing data to support in the development of campaign KPIs and targets.
  • Lead the development and refinement of internal templates and processes to expedite creative testing and campaign evaluation reporting.
  • Beyond campaign evaluation, provide quantitative and qualitative support to Global Brand Insights team’s mixed method research studies.
  • Leverage and synthesize insights from a large and diverse range of primary and secondary market research sources to support across Global Brand Insights project needs. 
  • Stay up to date on consumer and industry trends to surface up fresh insights and strategic implementations as it relates to the category and consumer.
  • Stay up to date on latest creative testing and marketing measurement methodologies.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure insights are well-rounded and brought to life in a way that both validates and inspires.

 

qualifications

  • 4-6 years of relevant market research and analytics experience.
  • Extensive experience designing, executing, and analyzing complex quantitative and qualitative market research studies.
  • Proven project management expertise, with a proven ability to lead and coordinate complex, multi-faceted projects from inception to completion.
  • In-depth understanding of the mechanics of media measurement and research, and familiarity with media strategies. Experience with MMMs considered an asset.
  • Strong track record of developing and maintaining strong working relationships with external market research vendors to execute research studies locally and internationally.
  • Proficient in leveraging custom quantitative survey tools (e.g., Alida, Alchemer, Qualtrics) to design research (questionnaire development, scripting, link testing), analyze data, and generate insights and reports.
  • Strong quantitative reasoning and analytical skills.
  • Strong storyteller with the ability to transform data into clear and compelling information through effective analytical, visualization, and report writing capabilities. Capable of communicating complex insights and data across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
  • You’re naturally curious and love problem solving - you enjoy getting to the core of an issue through investigation and analysis, and you can take data to insights and ultimately to action.
  • Proven ability collaborating with others – teamwork makes the dream work. Experience working efficiently with stakeholders and team members across time zones and countries.
  • Strong interest in market research, advertising, media and cultural trends, with a keen eye on how these elements shape consumer behavior and brand strategy.
  • You’re proactive, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to juggle changing priorities while maintaining a positive attitude in the face of challenging deliverables.

Compensation and Benefits Package 
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $81,500-$107,000 CAD annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
