About this team

The AUSNZ Brand team is part of the Asia Pacific Brand Marketing organisation and is responsible for build an iconic global brand with local relevance. We are the guardians of the lululemon brand, ensuring we show up in a premium, consistent and relevant way across our channels for our guests. Our primary goals are to increase the awareness, familiarity and demand for our brand and products by communicating our brand point of view and the superiority of our products.


The Manager, Brand Operations leads Brand Sample and Styling Specialist and Brand Operations Specialist to ensure the smooth operation of brand marketing processes. 


A day in the life: 

As the Manager, Brand Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of brand marketing, ensuring seamless execution and alignment across various functions. This role will include managing the brand marketing calendar, annual operating plans, and budget management to ensure brand initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify risks, resolve issues, and continuously drive process improvements.

  • Serve as a key partner to the Director of Brand & Community, offering trusted guidance on project execution, team needs, and regional market alignment, while driving operational excellence across brand marketing functions
  • Lead the Brand Operations team, continuously developing the Brand Specialist and Brand Sample and Styling Specialist
  • Optimize and document efficient workflows to streamline collaboration between cross functional and remote teams 
  • Manage complex, cross-functional projects, driving efficient execution and timely delivery of brand marketing objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (brand marketing functions, retail, product, digital) to ensure successful GTM execution, including resource allocation and channel strategies
  • Act as a central point of contact for brand marketing initiatives, ensuring all projects are tracked, deadlines are met, and milestones achieved
  • Develop and manage the brand marketing calendar, ensuring alignment with company priorities and deadlines
  • Oversee the brand marketing budget, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and collaboration with finance and FP&A teams.
  • Lead and facilitate key alignment meetings, ensuring that updates are captured, actions are tracked, and follow-ups are addressed


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA is a plus)
  • 5+ years of experience in brand marketing, operations, or a related field, ideally in a fast-paced retail or consumer goods environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing budgets 
  • Experience leading a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication 
  • Excellent project management skills, with experience managing complex calendars, timelines, and milestones
  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com).
