About the Operations Accounting Team
The Accounts Payable Supervisor will be within the Operations Accounting function. It is responsible for supporting our fast-growing business attending to the needs of our employees.

A day in the life

Reporting to the Finance Operations Manager, China
  • Responsible for ServiceNow ticket management, including vendor payments check and coding, vendor setup review, communication with user departments to clarify and guide users’ work.
  • Manage and supervise daily activities of AP staff.
  • Organize periodic finance training to new store staff and SSC newlu, and attend monthly regional store meeting to update finance policies and requirements.
  • Have regular meetings with Vancouver AP team to communicate and update issues that need to be solved.
  • Responsible for monthly accrual JE, including monthly IT, logistics, legal, P&C and B&C accruals, and other accruals.
  • Be actively involved in the various projects that can improve the process efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist China Finance Manager to support new business needs and process improvements.
  • Support finance manager on ad-hoc duties or projects.

Qualifications:
  • Good command of English both written and oral.
  • A university accounting degree with a minimum of 6-10 years’ relevant work experience in a sizable company..
  • Knowledge of retail accounting is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Be proactive and comfortable working with both local and remote team members.
  • Be able to develop and maintain a network of contacts, both inside and outside the organization, with people who can supply information, assistance and support for worked related goals,.
