about the team

The Digital & Social Media is a core function of the Brand Marketing China, with a sharp focus on elevating an inspired understanding of the brand and product stories that underpin and uniquely define lululemon across multiple platforms.  As a part of the digital marketing team, the digital Content Executive is to support delivering social content for multiple digital channels. You will be mainly responsible for social channel content calendar and quality.

a day in the life:

·       Support to manage the China digital brand strategy and regional content curation & distribution for our digital channels through cross-functional alignment with the Global Brand Team,  China E-comm Team and local brand and community teams 

·       Identify opportunity for amplification and support local brand managers ensuring that they are supported with content & paid opportunities to drive the business in their individual market through the social media specialists

·       Follow the year-long plan, ideation and development of content both for weekly, quarterly and evergreen campaigns

·       Initiate and implement ROI-focused online content strategy and execute for lululemon all digital channels, including WeChat and Weibo, official site content, product detail page description and Tmall ecosystem;

·       You support on photography/videography briefs and guide the social media specialists & community managers in finding the right production partner for social content, ambassador photography or ecomm shoots when necessary

·       E-marketing communication calendar across all digital touch points, to support e-commerce business related ROI metrics;

·       You will control and manage the online content quality, to ensure the clear and attractive communications on products; monitor and analyze content performance based on goals and matrix of open, read, engage, convert;

·       You will continuously optimize and test on new content approach based on historical learnings, new content trends and data-driven experimentation;

·       Create and edit ROI-focused contents based on business needs, including CRM related contents, digital media contents, own channel contents and external platform contents; and manage agencies to develop qualitative content on schedule; 

·       Accountable to weekly & monthly reporting where you analysis, measure and strategically fine tuned our content plan as needed

·       Work cross-functionally with our digital team on campaign + paid media strategy


·       Great marketing sense and deep understanding on e-commerce content marketing

·       Proven capability in digital copywriting and editing; working experience on how to measure ROI-focused contents and optimize accordingly

·       5 years working experience in content marketing or digital marketing

·       E-commerce marketing background preferred

·       Work independently and creatively, adaptable to a fast-growing digital environment.

·       Fluent in English & Chinese

·       Bachelors degree in business, marketing or related subject an asset

·       Strong ability to work independently, under pressure and meet deadlines
