Associate Analyst, Footwear Wear Testing

ABOUT THIS TEAM
Within the umbrella of the newly created Portland organization, the individual in the Associate Analyst, Footwear Wear Testing role will be responsible for supporting the analysts in the testing process. Your day-to-day work will focus primarily on supporting the various stages of footwear testing, maintaining relationships with tester rectruitment sources and managing a limited number of tests. As a member of a small team, you will have the ability to wear multiple hats and work closely with crossfunctional partners to influence product decisions. We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and personable individual who is passionate about the Sweatlife.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
• Prepping/Shipping/Receiving of test samples for all wear test analysts
• Organizing/Archiving returned test samples for all wear test analysts
• Provide logistical support for Innovation/Engineering wear testing
• Outreach to local and national studios/gym and run clubs to build/maintain relationship as a recruiting resource
• Outreach to lululemon communities to build/maintain relationship as a recruiting resource
• Working with Sr Lead and Lead analysts on ongoing recruitment needs and strategy
• Training on testing process to understand how to design, run, analyze and report tester feedback
• Manage testing for basic test requests and ensure clear reporting to cross-functional partners
• Assist with keeping up-to-date calendar for testing
QUALIFICATIONS
• 2+ years in footwear testing or closely related field
• Degree in exercise physiology, perception science, or research-related field is a plus
• Experience in community outreach, footwear product testing, development or research industry preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with high attention to detail and ability to deliver clear and actionable insights that will inform product decisions
• Strong multi-tasking and organization skills, with ability to manage multiple competing priorities at once
• Strong interpersonal skills with passion for understanding the consumer and learning + delivering on their product and performance needs
• Highly collaborative, team-first mentality
