About this team:
The IDEA team is a cross-functional partner to the lululemon business. We serve as the key point of contact with teams and leaders across the business, partnering to educate, advise, guide, and champion behaviors that support inclusion, diversity, equity, and action (IDEA).

A day in the life: what you’ll do
  • Support in executing deliverables related to the greater IDEA accessibility strategy. Changes under: (1) accessible shopping environments in stores; (2) accessible store experience for employees and guests. Inclusive of the stores and SSC spaces (3) accessible digital experiences. 
  • Utilize and gather data insights and industry research to drive change in critical areas of accessibility and inclusion with the most significant impact on guest and employee experience.
  • The Accessibility Specialist evaluates the accessibility of instructional technology devices and software and makes recommendations concerning best practices.
  • Supports compliance with WCAG 2.0 (A, AA) success criteria and federal requirements and promotes accessibility standards of lululemon digital spaces.
  • Supports IDEA Business Partners with their specific scopes with IDE Accessibility Strategy, as needed. 
  • Supports and implements the vision and strategy of the IDEA Manager overseeing the IDEA accessibility efforts.
Qualifications:
  • BA or equivalent experience in Accessibility 
  • Experience and proficiency in Web Content accessibility guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 + experience advising on ADA and Barrier Free accessibility requirements in the U.S. and Canada for Public Accommodations through the EEOC. 
  • Relevant experience in diversity, inclusion & equity work, or roles. 
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills 
  • Comfort with professional and academic studies with a focus on research application.
