About this team 
Our Product & Distribution team supports all the technologies used in both developing our products as well as the movement of those products from the factories and ultimately into the hands of our guests. 
A day in the life:  
  • Designing, building, and leading a team of software engineers to create new systems from the ground up.
  • Applies knowledge of security coding practices and/or secure system fundamentals (e.g. cross-site scripting, security certificates)
  • Leads end-to-end engineering for projects and problems of complex scope and impact within practice
  • Provide technical expertise in establishing processes and procedures to ensure standards are followed. Perform code reviews, merges of extensions and customizations delivered by project team & Offshore team.
  • Accountable to ensure engineering teams meet production SLA’s of applications/systems

  • BS or MS in CS, Engineering or equivalent practical experience with 10 years of professional/technology experience.
  • 10+ years of Java development experience.
  • 3+ years of working in Java/spring framework
  • 3+ years of cloud development experience in AWS or other public cloud platform. 
  • Familiarity with database technologies such as Oracle, SQL, and PostgreSQL
  • Strong oral and written communication skills — and a knack for explaining your decision-making process to non-engineers

Compensation and Benefits Package 
For Washington Applicants: lululemon’s compensation offerings are rooted in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position in Washington is from $132,200-$173,500 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our competitive Total Rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus offering, subject to program eligibility requirements.
