about this role

As Senior Director, North America Brand Marketing, you will be responsible to lead the development and execution of high-impact brand marketing campaigns and activations, driving brand awareness, guest engagement and business results. You will oversee end-to-end campaign execution, from brief to launch, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints. This role involves leading a team of brand marketers to build brand strategies and marketing plans delivering to overall brand and business objectives.


a day in the life: what you’ll do

  • Develop and lead the execution of brand campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, retail, media, events, and more.
  • Responsible for driving the calendar strategy for full funnel brand activity with a 2-year planning horizon, acting as critical cross-functional partner in building a calendar rooted in business priorities, consumer mindset, and KPIs.
  • Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing team of marketers and oversee brand building and communication across campaign communications.
  • Identify opportunities to create meaningful connections with audiences through innovative experiences and activations.
  • Effectively manage stakeholders and drive leadership across key cross-functional teams to guide strategic vision and remove roadblocks for the team.
  • Guide the team to deliver strong briefs that inspire creative teams and drive impact, including insight development, competitor and market trends, category opportunities, establishing campaign objective + KPIs, target audience, and messaging hierarchy.
  • Enrolling senior brand leaders in the marketing vision, growth, and results of strategies and marketing plans.
  • Lead marketing analysis and results sharing across the cross-functional teams and using results to inform and adjust strategy.
  • Responsible for managing the annual operating budget for campaign portfolio and accountable to budget allocation and day to day management.


qualifications

  • 10-15 years of experience developing and driving digital and offline marketing campaigns/initiatives from inception to execution for leading brands.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or marketing and 10-15 years of experience in marketing, preferably at an organization within the Retail, Apparel, Sport, or product marketing sectors.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience leading teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep understanding and expertise in managing omnichannel campaigns, leveraging guest and product insights to drive initiatives from inception to execution.
  • Energetic, creative thinker with a strong grasp of future marketing trends, culture, and competitive dynamics.
  • Extensive experience in creative brief development and collaboration with creative teams/agencies, including on-set work.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling presentations and rally cross-functional teams as a passionate storyteller.
  • Adaptable and positive in managing changing priorities and changing deliverables or business needs.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills and comfort with ambiguity, along with experience preparing materials for executive audiences.

Compensation and Benefits Package 
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $187,400 - $246,000 CAD annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and equity offerings, subject to program eligibility requirements.

This role is classified as Hybrid under our SSC Workplace Policy:  In-person collaboration is important, and much of the role can be performed remotely. Work is performed onsite at least 3 days per week.
