About this team

The Financial Reporting Team works cross-functionally with many other teams in the business as well as our auditors to meet our public financial reporting obligations. It also prepares internal reports, including departmental and store reporting, providing our leaders with the information they need to understand our business and make key decisions. The team is ultimately accountable to our compliance with our SEC reporting obligations.


A day in the life

  • Analyze and interpret proposed SEC climate regulations, how they will impact lululemon, timing, scope and complexity.
  • Lead cross functional response to meet SEC, and other regulatory ESG compliance requirements.
  • Ability to present to senior leadership on the nature of ESG disclosures or other regulatory changes.
  • Collaborate with sustainability org to ensure that appropriate systems, people and processes to address regulatory changes in the ESG space.
  • Be the internal expert of lululemon’s accounting policies, including analyzing complex accounting issues and new accounting standards.

Qualifications

  • CPA qualification or equivalent.
  • At least 8 years post qualification experience, including experience of working with US GAAP.
  • Experience of working in professional practice or accounting advisory functions of a large accounting firm.
  • Experience of working with large, multinational, retail experience preferred.
  • Sustainability qualifications or experience preferred.
