FP&A is responsible for planning and managing lululemon’s overall financial performance. A day in the life

Reporting to the Director, Retail FP&A (North America), the SFA, Mexico FP&A is responsible for overseeing monthly and quarterly financial forecast, executing annual operating plan, and providing sound business strategy advice.

 

The SFA, Mexico FP&A will be responsible for:

  • Support the transition and integration of the Mexico market into an owned business model
  • Responsible for supporting the progress and performance of transition related activities: cross-functional process shift and development
  • Develop and implement the plan to exit the transitionary phase of FP&A support. This includes supporting the cutover of current to enterprise processes, systems and timelines; the move from the current fiscal year to the global calendar; and the establishment of the functional governance
  • Work with the Finance technology team to ensure that the roadmap for financial systems integration is thoroughly planned and implemented
  • Strategic business partner to local and in-market Mexico teams.
  • Presenting forecast and variance analysis to FP&A and cross-functional senior leaders.
  • Support with monthly and quarterly executive and board meeting materials and ad hoc financial analysis.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • CPA, CFA or MBA a plus.
  • 6+ years of progressive financial analysis and reporting experience with fast pace business environments. Retail industry experience an asset.
  • Expert knowledge of Excel is required and working knowledge of Oracle Hyperion (EPM) an asset.
  • Spanish language an asset
  • Extremely organized, thorough and takes pride in quality.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a time sensitive manner.
  • Ability to work with a large amount detail without losing sight of the big picture.

Compensation and Benefits Package 
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $81,500 - $107,000annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.

This role is classified as Hybrid under our SSC Workplace Policy: In-person collaboration is important, and much of the role can be performed remotely. Work is performed onsite at least 3 days per week.
