a day in the life

  • Drive and execute sourcing initiatives and strategy plans.  Develop insights on industry embellishment trends as input into printing/ embellishment sourcing strategies for printers and graphic trims suppliers. 
  • Collaborate with Design, PD Merch, Sales, Mainline Sourcing and Production teams to identify gaps/ opportunities and develop strategies for future embellishment capability needs. 
  • Support the Production Sourcing team in execution of category level allocations that align to Sourcing strategies and support margin and product capability requirements 
  • Own category level long-range sourcing and vendor strategies; translate and track seasonal execution 
  • Own category level cost impact insights to inform cost negotiations and guide seasonal IMU targets 
  • Own category level margin delivery, tracking and analysis, provide visibility and insight for cross-functional awareness 
  • Guide the season; cost prioritization, identify risk and opportunities, create and drive actions plans for improvements 
  • Identify and elevate gaps and opportunities in Sourcing Strategies due to misalignment with Merch and Product strategies 
  • Coordinate the NVAP process with RSC and other cross functional teams to bring new NAM printer partners onboard as needed. 
  • Collaborate with the Mainline Sourcing team to ensure visibility and alignment with NAM Wholesale business plans and key initiatives.  


qualifications

  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Finance, or a related field 
  • 5 – 8+ years apparel industry experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management.
  • Experience in managing supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Wholesale and/ or licensed partner apparel experience is a plus

Compensation and Benefits Package 
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $103,500-135,900 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
