about the role

The EMEA Network planning lead is a critical position that will support the regional distribution, logistics, trade and engineering (Fulfilment) network in shaping the network strategy, supporting strategic decision making, and driving operational performance improvements across the network. This position will support the EMEA Fulfilment team in analysing the company’s distribution and logistics performance, reporting out on performance, identifying performance improvement opportunities, driving strategic initiatives, and completing analysis to support broader strategies of the department

To support ongoing analytics and process improvement needs, the role requires a strong understanding of operational systems, processes, and data across the fulfilment network.

This role can be located in either our distribution centre in Bergen op Zoom, The Netherlands or our EMEA HQ (SSC) in London, UK.

a day in the life

  • Develop and implement analytics solutions for the departments reporting needs
  • Recommend improvements for and lead the creation of automated reports and dashboards using Power BI in combination with data from our 3PL, our freight partners, and our internal systems
  • Build out long-range fulfilment strategy and corresponding investment roadmap on an annual basis for DLTE department
  • Drive progression of fulfilment strategy, including ad hoc supply chain design and network study assessments
  • Build business cases, including cost / benefit analysis, for strategic initiatives and special projects resulting from investment roadmap
  • Portfolio management, strategic initiatives, and special projects, including supporting the development and maintenance of a program management process for department
  • Support EMEA fulfilment team in monthly spend analysis against regional budget & forecast
  • Manage and develop fulfilment spend dashboards and reports and support review cadence of reporting & AOP (Annual Operating Planning)
  • Identify and address financial risks and areas of improvement through diagnostics analytics
  • Lead analyses of forward-looking projections of cost impact to support new product category launches, various business decisions and profitability analysis

skills & experience

  • Good to have a BA in related field - Supply Chain/Operations, Business, Analytics, etc.
  • Experience 5+ years business or technical experience, preferably with background in supply chain strategy
  • Strong analytic skills with ability to conduct complex network modelling and financial analysis
  • Ability to work and deliver in changing environments, under limited guidance while adhering to specified deadlines and budgets
  • Mandatory strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • High degree of proficiency MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and
  • Experience with MS Access, SQL and database reporting a plus
