About this team

As an Architect on the OMS & Order Services team, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Project Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition, Design and Development. You will ensure that the OMS & Order Services platform is well designed using best practices to meet the scalability and reliability for growing global eCommerce. With all exciting work, you will also enjoy top notch benefits with great product discounts.

A day in the life:

In this role you will collaborate with Product Management, Principal Architects and Engineer to bring projects from concept to implementation. Your solutions will be aligned with Digital Architecture strategy and consider business needs, timeline, and quality. You’ll also share exciting new technologies with the team, and partner with engineering leadership on technical roadmaps.

• Serves as primary technical solution design architect for one or more teams and their systems and integrations
• Serves as primary decision escalation resource for addressing architecture and integration issues affecting their team
• Continuously drive improvements in areas like performance, security, automation, quality, monitoring, and reliability of platforms 
• Develops and maintains current and future-state architecture models and ensures all documentation is kept up to date
• Keeps up with industry best practices, technologies, architectures, trends, emerging technologies and develop proof of concept projects to validate new ideas

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with equivalent experience
• 5+ years in in developing / implementing / customizing IBM Sterling Commerce Distributed Order Management and Inventory Visibility
• Strong knowledge & hands-on experience on Sterling Web store customizations
• At least 4+ year experience as Technical Lead
• Solid Leader experience with Services, DevOps, Delivery.
• 6+ year experience in developing Servlet/JSP/Filters, Java Web Services, or related skill.
• Hands-on experience on developing Java Spring boot applications is desired
• Experience in migrating On-Premise systems to Cloud is considered valuable
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction be a self-starter with strong initiative, and ability to manage/execute workload to deliver high quality results.
• Experience in leading multiple work tracks in a multi-site team model
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Support troubleshooting through solid analytical reasoning
• Experience in Agile methodology
• Experience working with high transaction systems
