About this team


This role is part of the International Marketing, Personalization, Guest Insight & Acquisition Technology Program, accountable for the end-to-end delivery of business and technology initiatives to enable personalized experiences such as e-mail journeys, activations, etc. for guests in APAC & EMEA. In addition to that, also providing omni channel enterprise services for improving efficiencies across the organization and identifying process improvements to serve guests in APAC & EMEA.


A day in the life


As a Technology Manager responsible for Delivery, you are a leader on a team doing exciting and innovative work as we bring personalized experiences to our guests.

Leading through a direct team (Program Managers, Project Managers, Business Analysts, Scrum Managers) across 3 distinct product/scrum teams, you are responsible for managing a $6M+ CapEx portfolio. You collaborate directly with peer managers, directors, and VP+ level leaders across technology, business, and product teams located globally in EMEA, APAC, India & North America.

You bring your experience, ideas, and initiatives to influence and drive change to support our growth and scaling. You are responsible for leading and developing a team to own, transform, and evolve the following areas:


Portfolio Strategy, Planning, and Management


  • Drive overall portfolio strategy in collaboration with business and technology leadership
  • Lead intake, planning (quarterly and interim), and prioritization
  • Lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for portfolio investments
  • Manage portfolio level risks and dependencies
  • Manage portfolio heath and financials
  • Lead workforce strategy and planning

Team Enablement


  • Lead the implementation of standard delivery practices across the portfolio
  • Lead Community of Practice for Program and Project Managers, Scrum Masters, and Business Analysts
  • Lead employee engagement and people development initiatives
  • Manage portfolio wide communications
  • Oversee hiring and onboarding in collaboration with hiring managers and P&C partners
  • Identify and oversee process improvements 
  • Manage leadership team rhythms and plans (meetings, offsites, planning sessions, OKRs)
  • Develop leaders and successors within team and act as a mentor to resources outside of team

Program Oversight 


  • Lead the planning and delivery within the portfolio of enterprise and cross-functional initiatives  
  • Lead program delivery in partnership with cross-functional technology and business teams

Qualifications


  • 7+ years of experience in information technology with direct work experience leading complex, global technology initiatives
  • 3+ years of direct people management and leading technology delivery through others
  • 3+ years of experience leading in a product centric delivery environment
  • Demonstrated experience managing $6M+ technology delivery portfolio
  • 2+ years in global Retail technology industry experience preferred 
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams adopting delivery methodologies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a high degree of professionalism in working collaboratively at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and present ideas and across all levels of the organization 
  • Bachelor’s degree information technology or related field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation preferred
  • Agile experience and working with scrum teams
  • Detail-oriented; Results-oriented; Problem solver
