about this role

The GIS Analyst, Global Market Development works cross-functionally with Retail Operations, Store Development, Real Estate, Finance. They are a champion of data; using geospatial analytics, modelling & research to ensure due diligence in real estate decision making & enable lululemon’s continued growth.


a day in the life
  • Performs geospatial analysis to support real estate site decisions
  • Evolves & maintains new store sales forecasting & store demand models 
  • Responsible for maintaining GIS platform (Sitewise) & PowerBI dashboards
  • Analyses guest data to identify trends & insights relevant to real estate decisions
  • Provides training on GIS platform & analytical tools to cross-functional partners
  • Supports Manager, Global Market Development with ad-hoc analysis
qualifications  

  • Undergraduate degree required; quantitative subject such as finance, economics or geography preferred. Diploma in Data Science / GIS an advantage
  • 3-5 years experience & solid understanding of GIS & spatial analytics.
  • Strong SQL skills – comfortable with querying guest data
  • Knowledge of retail, real estate & market planning a plus
  • Highly competent in Microsoft Excel & experience with PowerBI
  • Experience with SQL, data management, PowerBI
