about this team
Responsible for the design and creation of our Performance knitwear. This team spans Men's, Women's and Accessories executing franchise growth and category expansion across our pillars of Run, Train and Yoga. 

a day in the life: what you’ll do
  • Support design team in tech pack updates and various data input responsibilities for handoffs to PD and the cross-functional team, including PLM, color, WWMT, preparation for sketch reviews, and others. 
  • Actively participate in pre-seasonal research and concept creation with the rest of the design team. 
  • Support to the pod team and general design team in various functions around preparation for gates, consolidating presentation material, preparing sample racks and back staging models in proto reviews. 
  • Helping to ensure the smooth day to day activities of the team
  • Act as Design support – be the Designer’s right-hand person to support with day-to-day tasks: which includes the following: 
  • Build flat drawings and line overviews as directed by the Designer/Senior Designer
  • Presentation preparation - support the Designer/Senior Designer in preparation for major gates e.g., file set up & mock-ups / prototypes etc.
  • Be present for all fitting and design/product meetings to capture feedback and actions
  • Support the Designer with the initial setup, maintenance and updating of “Why We Made This” files

  • 0-2 years minimum industry experience is required 
  • BA, BFA or BS in Design required (or equivalent) 
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator 
  • Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Excel, Word, Mac platform 
  • An understanding in 3D design would be a benefit 
  • Previous experience of knitwear/seamless would be a benefit
