about this team

The Global Omni function is a key part of the overall Global Digital, OMNI & Guest Support team. This team will work to create a uniquely lululemon, truly differentiated and elevated guest and educator experience globally, working closely with partners in Technology, Retail, UX and Operations.

 

This role will be leading the Omni & Retail Technology Portfolio Governance and Planning (PG&P) Team. This team plays a critical role in enabling effective, efficient, and consistent planning, governance, and execution of initiatives across the Global Omni portfolio. This includes driving alignment, collaboration, and delivery with teams across the Omni & Retail Technology portfolio, Retail, Technology, and all teams within the Global Digital, Omni and Guest Support organization to ensure strategic priorities are met and operational excellence is maintained.

 

a day in the life: what you’ll do

  • Input and facilitate the creation and dissemination of the business strategy for the Global OMNI profile (in partnership with VP, Global Omni and sub-functional leaders)
  • In partnership with Portfolio Management Office (PG&P), develop and implement a governance model to ensure oversight and standardization of all Global Omni initiatives / projects
  • Maintain, assess and optimize Global Omni Governance model and rhythm of business ensuring effective, efficient, and scalable program operations and best practices.
  • Communicate portfolio health and progress clearly and consistently, partnering with senior leaders to facilitate decisions and resolve dependencies across the portfolio 
  • Oversees integrated planning and prioritization across Global Omni functions ensuring plans are strategically aligned, cross-functionally connected, and operationally feasible. Includes ensuring adherence to the internal taxonomy defined to align upon strategic priorities within the Global Digital Omni and Guest Support organization. 
  • Collaborate with functional leadership to define, track, and report portfolio objectives, goals, and success measures, ensuring transparency and accountability across all initiatives and programs 
  • Oversees portfolio execution and delivery by aligning programs to scope, timelines, and performance expectations. Works with program managers and senior stakeholders to manage risks, prioritize delivery needs, and remove blockers. 
  • Partner with technology partners to develop & manage budgets and plans for the portfolio
  •  Intake work within the portfolio & work with the leaders to determine how to move forward
  • Facilitate Annual Budgeting Process and long-range planning in partnership with PG&P 
  • Support team engagement and operational rhythm for the Global Omni Portfolio (in close partnership with VP Global Omni, and sub-functional leaders) organizing team meetings, offsites and engagement activities, curating connection and development opportunities & experiences, and partnering with senior leaders to deliver updates and celebrate wins.
  • Provide people leadership and mentorship to all program management employees within the portfolio’s functional area (Global Omni)
  • Establishes trusted relationships and builds strategic partnerships that foster shared accountability and informed decision-making. Enables leaders and team to manage complex initiatives and partnerships with clarity, influence, and transparency across portfolio.
 

qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business operations or related field or equivalent experience in similar field/industry and Project Management certification or equivalent experience (Agile preferred)
  •  10+ years of relative experience, preferably in a vertically integrated, global, specialty retail environment
  • 7+ years of demonstrated people and team leadership 
  • Experience working with systems and/or with technical teams seen as an asset
  • Experience in retail operations and or other relevant field in bringing retail strategies to life across channels

Hybrid + Internal Remote Eligible  

In-person collaboration and connection is important, though much of the role can be performed remotely. Applicants who live within 50mi/75km of the specified office will be prioritized through the hiring process. If the successful candidate comes from this applicant pool, they will be required to be onsite at least 4 days per week. Internal applicants who are remote (i.e. those who live beyond 50mi/75km from the specified office) will also be considered, without needing to relocate.  

 

Compensation and Benefits Package  

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $182,000-$238,900 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program subject to program eligibility requirements.
