a day in the life: 

Based in the Vancouver Store Support Center and reporting to the Director, Global Security & Resilience, the Corporate Security Manager will take primary responsibility for the protection of tangible and intangible assets across the global corporate network.  This person will work closely with global and regional leadership, cross functionally across key departments, and the global Asset Protection team to drive effective strategy that helps the organization protect people, places, and product.  


  • Be the ambassador for all things Security, Safety, and Integrity; develop a strong culture of ethics, integrity, and personal responsibility across the global corporate network of 18 sites across nine countries/territories. Champion a risk aware culture. 
  • Develop and maintain effective physical security strategies to protect corporate sites globally, including but not limited to security system technology, external security officers, remote monitoring, etc.
  • Maintain a dynamic risk assessment program that evaluates the risk environment across the global corporate network in order to prioritize and optimize risk mitigation actions
  • Manage external security associates across multiple sites, ensuring ROI; develop associates to be an integral part of the Corporate Security team
  • Lead sensitive and complex corporate investigations into fraud, corruption, dishonesty, and major violations of Company policy; support investigations elsewhere in the organization as required. In partnership with relevant business units, build strategies and programs to proactively monitor for and identify fraudulent activity
  • In partnership with Business Resilience team, develop and maintain crisis management and business continuity plans for corporate office sites
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for critical incident response 
  • Lead corporate office health & safety programs designed to minimize safety risks and meet or exceed local OH&S regulations
  • Manage Travel Risk Management program to deliver world class Duty of Care to travelers across the global business. Develop appropriate strategies to protect traveling senior leadership. 
  • In partnership with relevant business units, develop and manage strategies and programs that protect lululemon IP assets, including but not limited sample control and storage, confidential design & development information, company secrets, etc.   
  • Develop and manage security & safety training & awareness program
  • Maintain a strong network of industry peers, subject matter experts, service providers, and government agencies across global markets. 



Qualifications:


  • 7-10+ years of progressive leadership responsibility in corporate security, asset protection, internal audit or related function
  • Outstanding communication skills, including proven ability to influence in all areas of an organization 
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time and at short notice.
  • Wicklander-Zulawski non-confrontational interview training and/or related experience an advantage 
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; other languages an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits Package 


lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $103,500-$135,900annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.

workplace arrangement


This role is classified as Hybrid under our SSC Workplace Policy: In-person collaboration is important, and much of the role can be performed remotely. Work is performed onsite at least 3 days per week.
