About this team
Finance team work cross functionally with other teams in the business for finance operations, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and work with external auditors and tax representatives for compliances. We work closely with retail teams to support retail business operations, reporting and growth. We also support market expansion in the region from finance aspects. 

A day in the life: 
Support accounts payable functions, including vendor invoice and staff reimbursement
Coordinate with Vancouver accounts payable team to resolve payment issues
Provide regular training to educate business teams on accounts payable flow and payment system so to facilitate payment/reimbursement processes
Liaise with bank to manager corporate card program
Work with Vancouver headquarter in payment and reimbursement system rollout in local markets 
Participate in month end closing, including but not limited to unbilled invoices accruals and reconciliation 
Prepare supporting for statutory audit and tax returns
Organize and maintain appropriate accounting records in Asian countries
Handle other ad-hoc tasks as assigned from time to time by the Finance Manager

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance, CPA qualification is an asset
2+ years experience in a similar role, experience with working with share service centre is a plus
Experience in Coupa and proficient in Oracle is an asset
Good interpersonal & communication skills and highly professional style
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
Be proactive and comfortable working with both local and remote team members
Be able to develop and maintain a network of contacts, both inside and outside the organization, with people who can supply information, assistance and support for work related goals
