About this team
The Store Development team helps spearhead the company’s brick and mortar growth through the acquisition, design and construction of new stores. While helping our organisation expand its footprint within the region, we are also responsible for keeping our internal stakeholders closely informed as we grow.  

A day in the life: 
Whether in the office following up with ongoing negotiations or on the road in search of new locations, the role can expect to deal with the following on a daily basis:

Responsible for the review and management of rent expenses abstracted into lease management software (Lucernex)  
Review and processing of monthly rent roll, one-time payments and year-end reconciliations
Work in partnership with Landlords to reconcile account statements
Analyze, review and interpret gross sales language as it relates to percentage rent payment
Communicate and track critical dates for new and existing locations 
Manage day-to-day landlord relationships within your portfolio
Support store teams with lease related inquiries
Work with various internal and external cross functional partners, including lease administration, real estate, construction, finance & legal

1-3 years’ experience in commercial real estate  
Strong understanding of commercial lease language
Ability to work independently and within a team to build relationships and interact effectively with internal and external business partners
Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Strong analytical and Microsoft Office skills
Resourceful and high level of initiative
