about this team

The MP&A Product Management team is focused on improving processes and systems that impact lululemon’s merchandising, planning, and allocations teams.  We identify key business requirements that support our global MP&A processes ultimately helping lululemon live into our global growth strategies.  We provide the business process context necessary to guide technical decision making, while leveraging our connection with the business to enroll stakeholders on key process changes and impacts. 


core responsibilities


delivery & execution 

  • Responsible for the product management of our merchandise planning systems: prioritizing, driving and delivering features and unlocking new capabilities 
  • Prioritizes the backlog and ensures visibility to upstream and downstream partners 
  • Ensures quality of the product, manages and triages bugs efficiently 
  • Anticipates implementation challenges and develops mitigation strategies to minimize risk 
  • Contributes independently, resolves complex issues in own specialist area  


collaboration & communication 

  • Enrolls & communicates business requirements to technical partners 
  • Initiates, leads & facilitates business requirements gathering with end-users and key stakeholders 
  • Proactively solves potential problems with other functions and avoids unnecessary conflict 
  • Collects and analyzes feedback from end users, stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements, features and end products  


qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information technology or a related field 
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Product Management  
  • Experience with retail technology experience preferred 
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to discuss, understand, and simplify technical concepts 
  • Familiarity working in agile software development

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $105,800 - 138,800 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
