The Role / Location

The role of E-com Visual Designer will be based at lululemon’s China Store Support Center (SSC) in Shanghai, dedicated to the long-term development and growth of lululemon in China.

Job Summary:

The E-com Visual Designer position requires exceptional design thinking and demonstrable expertise in EC platforms (Tmall, JD and Douyin) as well as digital products. Requires a strong capacity for both logical and creative thinking as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with designers, developers and key partners.

 Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

·      Interact with internal business team and brand marketing team regularly and convert their ideas into concepts. Be familiar with EC platforms including Tmall, JD and Douyin and work closely with TP.

·       Create journey maps, flow diagrams, wireframes, mockups, style guides, prototypes, site maps, and other design artifacts to communicate design approach and to gain alignment across partners

·        Iterate rapidly as ideas emerge and priorities change to meet the needs of the project

·        Build successful UX solutions through tracking of user experience metrics, reports and analytics

·        Identify design problems and technical limitations from time to time and devise elegant solutions using the latest trends and techniques

·        Anticipating and adopting innovations in business-building digital and technology applications


·        5 & above years of significant experience focused on graphic design for EC platforms (Tmall, JD and Douyin), brand site and mini program

·        Can present and articulate the vision in a purposeful and thoughtful way, have an eye for detail, and an excellent sense of aesthetics and functionality

·        Have extensive experience with guest facing digital products and B2C platform design, from large-scale workflow solutions to bespoke, niche design

·        Possess strong oral, written and interpersonal skills to articulately express the rationale behind design decisions

·        Ability to train, develop, evaluate, discipline, reward, coach a team in a way that attracts and retains high quality and qualified employees

·        Proven leadership ability

·        Proven relationship management experience

·        Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.

·        Proven organizational and time management skills.
