About This Team
The Network Strategy & Operations team is a collective of passionate, agile, and entrepreneurial team members who provide an end-to-end view of lululemon's Supply Chain network. We work closely with a variety of core cross-functional partners as well as our Distribution Centers. You'll be able to quickly leverage the details of our daily operations, and translate them into the bigger picture of our Supply Chain operations. Reporting directly to the Manager, Labor Planning & Optimization, the Analyst, Labor Planning & Optimization will be responsible for daily planning and tracking of staff and schedules at our Distribution Centres. You will be responsible to gather core data points, providing insightful analysis, and generating daily and weekly trend reports.  

A Day In The Life
  • Partner with Distribution Center Managers to identify staffing requirements for facility activities (receiving, picking, packing) 
  • Align business needs (demand) with workforce requirements (supply) for today and tomorrow through flexible staffing plans 
  • Evaluate forecast and live data inputs 
  • Review staffing plans with Managers to identify risks and opportunities 
  • Develop daily and weekly reporting dashboards 
  • Analyze trends in operational metrics and identify root causes, risks, opportunities 
  • This role will be based out of our Columbus Distribution Center
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of progressive staffing or operational planning and analysis experience within a fast paced business environments. 
  • Retail / Distribution industry experience an asset 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or Business Administration 
  • A balance of analytical and business thinking, enabled by numbers driven analysis 
  • Strong communication skills to communicate to senior leadership, and clearly communicate findings 
  • Expert knowledge of Excel is required and working knowledge of Power BI is an asset 
  • Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a time sensitive manner 
  • Ability to work with a large amount of detail without losing sight of the big picture
