a day in the life: what you’ll do

Lead a team of architects, project leads, analysts, testers, business stakeholders and software vendors across multiple work streams simultaneously. Manage process, people and timeline to ensure that high quality deliverables are produced. Drive the roadmap and technical vision for the team, collaborate with product groups and partner teams on deliverables. Contribute to architecture, coding, test plans, project plans, deployment planning and operations to drive excellence and lead team towards its goals. Create training opportunities for team to learn the latest technologies and methodologies. Ensure the team has the tools, resources, and information they need to be successful. Ensure the team produces software that meets business and technology requirements. Ensure the right skills are being used to solve problems across the team. Guide teams toward best practices and participate in code reviews when needed. Champion and enforce software development and operational support processes. 

Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week within same geographic location as assigned office location. 40 hrs./week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. 


·       Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems or a related field plus eight (8) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in information technology. 

·       Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems or a related field plus six (6) years of experience in information technology

·       Must have 5 years of experience with event-driven Micro Services Architecture, containers and micro-services, REST APIs, and SOAP Web Services.

·       Must have 5 years of experience with Kafka streaming platform.

·       Must have 5 years of experience using Java, Angular, NodeJS, and Swift to write production code.

·       Must have 5 years of experience using logging and monitoring tools, including Splunk.

·       Must have 3 years of experience working with AWS Cloud Services and CI/CD pipelines.

·       Must have 3 years of experience working with Kubernetes deployment.

·       Must have 2 years of experience with people management, including providing performance  feedback and career coaching to junior IT professionals.

·       Must have 2 years of experience of delivering systems by designing and architecting, building for scale and testing for performance.

Workplace Arrangement

This role is classified as Hybrid under our SSC Workplace Policy:

In-person collaboration is important, and much of the role can be performed remotely. Work is performed onsite at least 3 days per week.

Compensation and Benefits Package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and teamperformance. Thetypical hiring range for this position is from$180,000.00 – $200,000.00annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
