Senior Sourcing Manager
Reporting to the Senior Director of Sourcing, the Senior Sourcing Manager will be the product expert for lululemon sourcing. The department is responsible for exploring, sourcing and managing the complex vendor base that develops and produces our product to a "Best Cost".    With that, the department also guides the product creation and cross functional collaboration to our product margin targets.
The role charged with driving global sourcing strategies from raw materials through finished goods by ensuring a world class global vendor base that delivers on brand product needs and margin targets, The direct reports below this role consist of analyst through manager level.  These roles execute against the strategies and direction set forth by the Senior Sourcing Director and Sr. Manager to ensure our products are costed to our targets and that our vendor partners are executing and operating to our business needs.

Core Accountabilities and Key Activities 
Establish long range sourcing strategies for Men’s business and translate them to seasonal strategies
Lead the Apparel Men’s Sourcing Team to execute against long range and seasonal strategies
Develop and execute vendor strategies to ensure capabilities and capacity to support the business
Guide the Men’s business and cross functional partners through the development cycle to achieve "Best Cost" and IMU Targets
Identify cost / margin challenges and opportunities against all categories in the Men’s business 
Alleviate product cost challenges by directing cross functional partners and vendors on action plans
Coordinate cross functional efforts toward category IMU targets, reporting for assigned category at each GTM gate. Provide guidance for solutions to improve margin 
Drive comprehensive method and reporting standardization of margin enabling comparability throughout the GTM process. 
Margin tracking and visibility to leadership and cross functional partners
Oversight of Women’s vendor base, manage relationships to achieve brand objectives 
Actively source / explore new vendors to deliver capabilities, capacity, and quality to the brand
Ensure On boarding new vendors seamlessly with ramp up plans and plan for growth
Leadership and people development of the Women’s Sourcing Team
Drive the 5 Year LRP Plans and Product roadmaps to inform medium and long-range strategies to support Merch product line plans and strategies and financial margin targets 
Identify Product cost challenges and opportunities to leadership and cross functional partners to action against
Manage Vendor strategy and product allocation for Product Development Teams and LLO Teams to operate against
Ensuring essential collaboration between LLL and vendor partners to manage costs, challenges, and opportunities
Partner closely with RM team for strategies on long lead time fabrication, multi sourcing efforts and optimizing vertical vendors 
Maximizing leverage of subject matter expertise and experience while minimizing manual non-value-added activities.

Required Skills, Experience and Requirements:
10+ years’ experience in product development, product manufacturing and Supply Chain 
Strong knowledge of production and product construction and manufacturing, with expert knowledge of cost driver’s management within a supplier and the entire supply chain
Strong project planning and management skills, ability to develop and manage multiple timelines and deadlines.
Strong understanding of components of garment FOB.  Understanding of how mix, sourcing, pricing, and other decisions affect overall profitability.
Extensive experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to establish shared goals.
Extremely organized, thorough and takes pride in quality work.
Strong analytical and problems solving skills.
Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiples task in a time sensitive manner.
Strong information systems skills and high comfort level with extracting and combining data across multiple sources.
Keen attention to detail in planning, organization, and execution of tasks, while still seeing the big picture and understanding how all the pieces fit together and affect one another.
Able to effectively articulate strategic recommendations and influence the decision-making process at all levels of the organization.
Ability to work with a large amount detail without losing sight of the big picture.
