about this team
The Finance Project Management office is a group of Project Managers and Business Analysts responsible for delivering annual initiatives and continuous improvement throughout the Finance and CFO departments. 

The Business Analyst acts as the key conduit between the Project Manager and the business through gathering information, documenting processes, testing, and confirming final outputs (documentation, systems, etc). 
The Business Analyst ensures solutions meet business needs and requirements. This role extends to projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the Finance space and interfaces extensively with the technology teams at lululemon. 
The business analyst will bring experience to be able to set up requirements sessions with SMEs, create a framework for requirements gathering and documentation, be able to analyze and prepare gap analysis, liase with vendors, technology and finance, write use cases, participate in testing, and provide recommendations for sign off for end processes or products.  

a day in the life: what you’ll do
  • Development of project requirements and playing a lead role in the creation of documentation including writing high level functional and non-functional requirements. 
  • Facilitating requirements workshops with subject matter experts (internal), technical team members, and vendors, where applicable. 
  • Supporting in testing through creation of use cases. 
  • Act as a consultant in being able to review a process and provide recommendations for continuous improvement as well as work to implement the solution.
  • Acting as the conduit between the Project Manager, vendors and various subject matter experts within departments.
  • Conducting meetings and creating presentations to share findings. 
  • Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Supports preparation of presentations for Project Manager.
  • Outlines requirements and testing findings to project team.
  • Advises on go/no go recommendations for end solutions. 
  • Supports in keeping key milestones completed, and on time, for projects.

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, technology or a related field. MBA preferred. 
  • 7+ years of business analysis experience within the field of Finance required.
  • Experience working closely or within technology teams required. 
  • Advanced technical skills preferred. 
  • Experience within the automation space is a plus.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills. 
  • Excellent documentation skills. 
  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications. 
  • Competency in Atlassian applications (Jira, Confluence). 
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills. 
  • A history of leading and supporting successful projects.
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet tight deadlines
