About this role
Attract, Engage, Capture – Japan Community Manager is responsible for leading the team that pioneers brand advocacy in new markets and strengthens brand resonance in existing markets by driving brand awareness and building relationships. Reporting to Head of Brand Japan and dotted-line to Director Brand and Community APAC, Community Manager is a people and industry leader whom defines, creates and executes an integrated national community strategy through an innovative mix of traditional marketing and grassroots community building. This leader is accountable for understanding how lululemon creates authentic and scalable connection points and amplifies key brand moments across Japan.


A day in the life:
  • Community Manager is responsible for pioneering future community growth building concepts and overarching strategy in collaboration with business stakeholders. Key objective in driving new/existing market growth and expansions.
  • Partnering with Head of Brand Japan and Director of Community APAC, create the annual operating plan (AOP) to elevate Japan community to next level to create the impact , ensuring it ladders up into the strategic priorities of the local and global business.
  • A day to day partner to Head of Brand Japan and store teams ensuring an aligned 18month Brand and Community calendar is reflective of what is happening in Japan and is specifically crafted to support the business objectives of the retail stores.
  • Oversee Japan Community strategy, development, and execution of the Ambassador/Collective pipeline, Retail Community and Product Seeding, NSO’s, Here to Be Program, and experiences. Always standing on strategies and KPI’s, make sure that the all plans are focused on guest acquisition, guest retention, traffic driving overall business growth.
  • Leading and developing the store community teams to create community pipeline.
  • Track and measure impact of local tactics and reactive actions (including storytelling, partnerships, guest sentiment, awareness/buzz and traffic) to articulate the results of our local community work.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business-related field and 5+ years' experience in the marketing field
