about this team
The Sr. Specialist, Process Excellence is a key member of the Distribution Excellence (DX) Team. The DC Team is part of our Global Distribution and Fulfilment Teams, and supports through Continuous Improvement, Project and Initiative Development, Process Documentation and Excellence, and overall Operations Excellence. The DX team is a combination of regionally based and network roles, responsible for additional functions like Sustainability, Process Excellence, 3PL Management, Peak Prep and Materials Management.
This role will require a strong interest in process and data analytics, coupled with a strategic mindset.
A day in the life
Support Process Excellence Manager in partnering with distribution leadership team on designing, implementing, controlling and optimizing distribution processes, including but not limited to:
- Analyze, evaluate, test, and oversee implementation of new and existing processes and procedures
- Examine and collect data on existing processes to uncover areas for suggesting improvements and innovation
- Lead and facilitate Continuous Improvement events in our DCs
- Drive process consistency across the global distribution network
- Investigate and troubleshoot any problems that arise with processes, procedures, and operations
- Regularly review business KPI’s and determine ways to improve their ability to maintain or approve those measures
- Effectively persuade others to implement process modifications and new approaches
- Develop and maintain a control system of SOP’s, Job Aids and Standard Work charts to document all processes and process changes
- Contribute to development of health and safety standards within distribution processes
qualifications- Excellent written and verbal communication skills – working with people across the distribution network, they have to be able to manage people well and communicate new ideas effectively
- Critical/logical thinking – have to locate problems, and then think of those problems from a variety of perspectives to assess the best solution
- Analytical skills – responsible for analysis and interpretation of data into charts, diagrams and reports
- Creative thinking and excellent problem solving skills – have to be able to solve problems in a new way, seeing past what is established and create a new way of doing things
- Attention to detail and project management skills – in management of a multidisciplinary team, they must be able to focus on many tasks at once while still maintaining a close attention to the details of each
- Well organized and structured, meeting all timelines as agreed. Leadership and disciplined management style
- Ability to work and deliver in changing environments, under limited guidance while adhering to specified deadlines and budgets
- Ability to work in a lean, matrixed, highly collaborative team environment with multi-cultural members. Must be comfortable with and embrace consensus decision-making.
- Undisputed integrity, personal, and business ethics; ability to build trust and respect with different stakeholder groups
- Strong MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Access experience
- Experience with SQL and database reporting a plus
- Education – Degree in business or technical field preferred
- Experience – 3-5 years minimum business or technical experience
- Knowledge of Value Stream Mapping, Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles

Compensation and Benefits Package
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $79,100-103,800 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
