About this team


The EMEA Digital Marketing & CRM team exists to define and execute the digital strategy for customer acquisition and retention. Our goal is to drive omni-channel sales for our European business and grow our community. We utilise a range of acquisition channels including Search (SEO & PPC), Affiliate & Influencer Marketing, Paid Media and Email to deliver elevated digital experiences, drive purchase and engage beyond transactions. We’re continually diversifying and optimising our digital marketing channel mix and target markets to reach new guests, increase brand awareness and drive efficient business growth.


A day in the life: What you’ll do


The Senior Manager of Performance Marketing will lead the performance marketing function within the DM/CRM department. In practice this will involve defining and managing the holistic strategy across paid performance marketing channels, including Paid Media, Paid Search, Affiliates and Marketplaces to support the regional goals for guest acquisition and retention. You are responsible for the ongoing planning and management of the investment and optimisation strategy across channels within your scope.

· Define and manage holistic Performance Marketing strategies that support regional and cross-functional business goals

· Oversee the execution of performance-centric activity across Search, Paid Media and Affiliate channels

· Lead and develop a high performing team with 3+ direct reports

· Develop strategic relationships with key external partners incl. advertising partners and agencies

· Plan and manage the Performance Marketing budget

· Define the optimal investment ratios across channels in scope required to deliver business goals

· Support your team in forecasting future performance across Performance Marketing channels to inform the wider business sales plans

· Define market specific strategies that support regional market expansion and prioritisation

· Partner with the CRM team in driving retention strategies across performane channels leveraging guest data and insights

· Foster collaboration of Performance Marketing teams with international partners to drive efficiency and performance globally

· Represent Performance Marketing in business review forums both regionally and internationally

· Continuously optimise and enhance Performance Marketing capabilities in region in partnership with Technology teams

· Design reporting and measurement frameworks to enable actionable insights for ongoing including supporting external partners in Mixed Media Modelling

Qualifications:

· 10+ Years experience across performance marketing

· Experience managing teams and agencies

· Experience activating performance marketing across multiple European markets

· Strong understanding across specific channels: Paid Search, Paid Media, Affiliate Marketing

· Understanding of planning and measurement frameworks to forecast and measure direct response metrics such as traffic, conversion and return-on-ad spend

· Proven experience creating strategies that support brand, product and customer objectives.

· Knowledge of the latest trends, best practices and technology in performance marketing

· Strong relationship building skills to work with numerous internal/external resources and departments to reach objectives.

· Proven ability to articulate vision and strategy in a way that inspires and motivates a team while focusing on achieving business goals

· Experience managing large performance marketing budgets
