About this team
We are the Hong Kong, Taiwan & Vietnam Global production team. We manage the relationship with our apparel, accessories, raw material vendors & ensure that lululemon has best in class world manufacturers. We work cross-functionally across the entire product team to ensure the product meets our business strategy, quality & cost goals. We then work with our vendors to make those products a reality.

A day in the life:
Responsible for managing & leading lululemon’s mandate of setting the standard of the highest production management processes in raw material manufacturing.
Develop, implement, and continuously refine any RM Production Management program.
Lead a team of Production Managers and Production Lead to provide end-to-end advice for production.
Ensure cohesive Production/WIP management procedures and initiatives for Raw Material suppliers from Supply Planning to Bulk
Ensuring On Time Performance (OTP) of our raw materials by partnering with Raw Material vendors
Providing leadership level strategies on In-region production management and sharing strategies & vision with production team
Continuously working on process efficiencies (internal and external)
Lead Time Reduction Project Management
Drive RMV behavior to meet standards, by building long lasting partnerships and collaborative approach.
Partner daily with Quality, Finished Goods Production and QATC teams to ensure bulk readiness and support production root cause work.
An important leader playing a bridging role between RMD, technical readiness and production teams.
Effectively analyzing all aspects of a problem, gathering necessary data, consulting others, making an informed decision, and communicating to the appropriate people.
Partner with cross functional leaders to develop the Raw Materials Strategic Road Maps. Seek experts in the industry for specialty skills & knowledge related to textile & non-textile materials.
Initiate sustainable raw material processes and drive significant environmental and social/economic results which change the world. Raise the bar and actively participate in world-wide organizations that share objectives & causes.
Continuously work towards team development and keeping team morale high.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in textiles, business management or allied field
10-15 years of apparel industry experience in raw materials
7-10 years proven management experience leading a team and business strategies.
Experience working on site with manufacturers around the world and strong knowledge of supply chain operations.
Proven team player with knowledge of cross-functional team accountabilities and requirements.
Ability to simultaneously manage complex projects and clearly communicate updates to key stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Able to communicate findings to both scientists and nonscientists with strong presentation skills.
Thirst for continuous education within the textile and corresponding industries.
