About this team

The Manager, Ecommerce Visual Design position requires exceptional design thinking and demonstrable expertise in all EC channels and platforms (.com, Wechat mini-program, Tmall, JD and Douyin) as well as digital products. Requires a strong capacity for both logical and creative thinking as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with designers, developers and key partners. Be responsible for improving guest’s experience across EC platforms and driving business growth. And support to build and lead China EC visual design team.

A day in the life:

·       Lead China E-commerce visual design team to improve our guest journey and found opportunity to match business needs.

·       Interact with internal business team and brand marketing team regularly and convert their ideas into concepts. Be familiar with EC platforms including .com, Tmall, JD, Wechat and Douyin and work closely with TP.

·       Create journey maps, flow diagrams, wireframes, mockups, style guides, prototypes, site maps, and other design artifacts to communicate design approach and to gain alignment across partners

·       Iterate rapidly as ideas emerge and priorities change to meet the needs of the project

·       Build successful UI/UX solutions through tracking of user experience metrics, reports and analytics

·       Identify design problems and technical limitations from time to time and devise elegant solutions using the latest trends and techniques

·       Anticipating and adopting innovations in business-building digital and technology applications

·       Put together interactions and best practices based on high level conversations from the business

Qualifications:

         8 & above years of significant experience focused on graphic design for EC platforms (Tmall, JD, Wechat and Douyin), brand site and Wechat mini program

         Can present and articulate the vision in a purposeful and thoughtful way, have an eye for detail, and an excellent sense of aesthetics and functionality

         Have extensive experience with guest facing digital products and B2C platform design, from large-scale workflow solutions to bespoke, niche design

         Understand how to optimize UI/UX to improve CTR and conversion rate to drive sales growth

         Possess strong oral, written and interpersonal skills to articulately express the rationale behind design decisions

         Ability to train, develop, evaluate, discipline, reward, coach a team in a way that attracts and retains high quality and qualified employees

         Experience in apperal or sportwear preferred

Must haves:

         A confident and persuasive presenter in both in English and Chinese

         Lead with courage, knowing the possibility of greatness is bigger than the fear of failure.

         Proven leadership ability

         Entrepreneurial spirit coupled with the creativity to think outside the box

         Proven relationship management experience

         Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.

         Proven organizational and time management skills.
