Curator – Experiential Store

Experiential Stores are lululemon’s physical manifestation of the SweatLife.  A full expression store has programming beyond retail and include events, fitness classes and food and beverage elements. While maintaining our roots in yoga and personal development, we create spaces and experiences that allows us to be part of our guest’s daily ritual and support them in living the life they love. 



Who is the Curator – Experiential Stores

You are a natural connector, an early adopter, and an industry leader who collaborates with local partners (community team, store managers, Mirror manager) to create and implement forward thinking programming to give ambassadors, innovators, entrepreneurs, chefs, artists, and influencers in your community a place to share, connect, and create.

You oversee the experiential programing (events, rentals, sales, classes), lead community programming and manage ambassador programming.Your work supports in guiding the organization into the future. This leader is accountable for supporting a key/influential market growth.

 


Core accountabilities of the Curator – Experiential Store

  • Manage and develop Experiential stores’ experiential strategy including curated experiences (events, rentals, sales), classes, ambassadors and fuel marketplace.
  • Accountable for evaluating, receiving and actioning experiential relevant feedback from guests.
  • Delegates sweat strategy to Sweat and/or Experiential Lead.
  • Creates fuel pop-up strategy and delegates relationships and execution to Fuel Manager.
  • You are a stand of inclusion, diversity and equity.
  • Collaborates with Experiential Program Managers and General Manager to meet business goals and metrics.
  • Support area-wide and global initiatives that create new guest acquisition, guest retention and brand awareness.
  • Cross-functionally work with all partners within the Experiential Store (General Manager, Store Manager, Fuel Manager, Experiential Lead, Sales Manager) and across all internal Experiential and non-Experiential businesses. 
  • Innovate using disruptive through process.
  • Identify, connect and deepen relationships with community influencers, and foster collaborations/creative partnerships when applicable.
  • Track and measure results and impacts of tactics on regular basis.
  • Market knowledge – study the market and collect local intelligence to inform community strategy.

  • Bachelor’s degree or proven experience in marketing, liberal arts, and/or business-related field 
  • 3-5 years of event planning and management experience.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and coordinate ongoing projects, plans and people development.
  • Proven ability to negotiate, influence and collaborate with other key decision makers.
  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovate to achieve great results.
  • Self-motivated and can work with a lot of autonomy yet thrive in collaboration and teamwork.
  • Thrives in ambiguity and can adapt to change.
