About this team
The Senior Merchandiser is dedicated to supporting all Multisourcing efforts from our Asia LLO (lululemon liaison office) across all teams. This role aims to ensure adherence to the multisourcing process, collect and analyze data, and regularly prepare analysis reports on all multi-source styles. You will report to Senior Manager and works closely with vendor partners and internal teams to drive product excellence and cost initiatives and build positive relationships internally and externally. You will also share insights and finding with responsible LLO Merch to allow them to work with garment vendors for further improvements.
A day in the life:
- Support the multisourcing request initiated by the Vancouver development and sourcing teams
- Manage pre-agreed costing timeline and work with LLO Merchs and vendors to achieve our costing standards
- Style creation and Flex PLM update
- Analyze and validate key cost components and negotiate cost against standards as needed
- Data input and costing validation (offline and online)
- Prepare vendor performance reviews and follow up on corresponding actions for continuous improvement
- Be the point of contact in the region for the multisourcing styles
Qualifications:
- Degree in clothing or merchandising-related discipline preferred, with 6+ years of relevant industry experience
- Strong knowledge of product costing, sourcing allocation, development management and production follow-up
- Experience in working directly with vendors and ability to drive performance
- Comfortable with rapid growth and changing environments, willing to learn, proactive and solution-oriented
- A true team player with excellent analytical skills and the ability to multi-tasking, with a dedication to continuous improvement and personal development
- Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
- FlexPLM and pattern marker knowledge are preferred
- MS Office application and Excel are your buddies, and you love to have fun and sweat!
