about this role

lululemon is looking for a permanent Social Media Specialist to support across UK social channels. They will drive brand awareness and sales on lululemon’s UK Instagram channel.  They will curate and create content including tailoring global campaigns for local implementation and designing net-new campaigns that answer business needs. They will ensure that all content is regionally relevant, engaging, inclusive, aligned with other channels and objectively reported and reviewed. They will implement a paid strategy that effectively boosts the right content to a new audience.

This role reports into the Content and Copy Manager.


a day in the life

  • Social media strategy for all UK accounts, specifically Instagram
  • Content curation including localising global campaigns and designing bespoke UK-specific campaigns that answer business needs
  • Creation of net-new assets across multiple mediums including ideation, casting, briefing creatives, overseeing production and reviewing output.
  • Creative direction to ensure that all assets are regionally relevant, engaging, inclusive, premium and a proper representation of the lululemon brand
  • Collaboration with the Community team to find and tell engaging stories from our collective
  • Collaboration with the Product team to integrate the right product into campaigns and to tell engaging product stories at the optimum time
  • Content scheduling and publishing
  • Paid social channel strategy and management, in collaboration with the paid media agency, ensuring the right content is boosted to a new audience
  • Storytelling support for the Community section of the UK website
  • Monthly reporting including implementing learnings
  • Budget management including content creation and paid media spend


qualifications

  • 4 years+ of relevant experience as a social media storyteller, ideally for a premium, purpose-led business with a challenger brand mentality
  • Demonstrable experience of growing a professional social media account through day-to-day strategic management
  • A content portfolio across multiple mediums including written, pictorial and film
  • Experience managing creatives including photographers and videographers
  • Experience optimising content through paid social media
  • Degree level education preferred
