About this team

The lululemon cybersecurity team enables lululemon to conduct its global operations in a secure manner and safeguard the trusted information of its guests and users. This is accomplished by understanding business risk as manifested through cybersecurity and compliance risk, and by maintaining a high degree of employee awareness of all security and compliance topics.  As the SOC Team Lead, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our organization's data and infrastructure from cyber threats. You will lead a team of talented security analysts, ensuring they have the tools, skills, and motivation to excel in a fast-paced, global environment.

A day in the life: 

As the SOC Team Lead, you will be providing leadership and mentorship to the SOC team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. You will be the face of the security operations center, which requires a great deal of responsibility.  These will include, but not be limited to, the following – 

Team Leadership:

  • Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the SOC team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Coach and develop team members, helping them grow their technical skills and security knowledge.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ensure effective team communication and collaboration.

Security Operations:

  • Oversee the monitoring and analysis of security events and incidents from various sources (SIEM, EDR, etc.).
  • Lead the investigation and response to security incidents, following established procedures and best practices.
  • Collaborate with other security teams (e.g., threat intelligence, vulnerability management) to ensure coordinated incident response.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest cyber threats and vulnerabilities, recommending and implementing necessary security controls.

Process Improvement:

  • Continuously evaluate and improve SOC processes, procedures, and workflows.
  • Develop and implement playbooks for various security incidents.
  • Conduct regular security exercises and tabletop simulations to test the team's preparedness.
  • Track key metrics and report on SOC performance to senior management.

Technology & Tools:

  • Possess a strong understanding of security technologies and tools used in the SOC (SIEM, EDR, threat intelligence platforms, etc.).
  • Stay informed about emerging security technologies and their potential applications in the SOC.


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) role, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.
  • Proven experience in security incident detection, investigation, and response.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Experience with security frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK) a plus.

Compensation and Benefits Package 
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $112,600-$147,800 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
