About the Global Internship Program

Our Global Internship Program offers an immersive, inclusive, and fun learning experience for early-in-career talent at select participating Store Support Centre (SSC) locations.  Throughout the 12-week program, interns gain exposure to real business initiatives, contribute to meaningful projects, and build lasting connections through networking opportunities, company events, and mentorship from leaders across the organization. The 2026 program opportunities will be product-focused, with interns supporting the teams driving product innovation and international growth.


  • Program Dates: June 1 to August 21, 2026 (dates subject to change)
  • Compensation & Benefits: Full-time, paid internship with access to group fitness classes, employee discount, and paid time off (prorated), including observed holidays.
  • Development Opportunities: Q&A sessions with executive leaders, alumni networking events, and career development sessions.
  • 3-Tier Support: Each intern is paired with a manager, mentor, and buddy for day-to-day support and dedicated career guidance.
  • Career Pathways: Interns participating in the 2026 program will have early access to full-time job opportunities. However, conversion to full-time employment after the program is not guaranteed.

Core responsibilities

As a Buying Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting global product strategies that connect with guests and drive brand growth. You'll work in a fast-paced, guest-centric environment where curiosity, agility, and a passion for product come together to shape meaningful guest experiences across retail and digital channels. This internship is a chance to showcase your passion for fashion, lifestyle, culture, and emerging trends – an opportunity to bring your unique perspective to a team that thrives on what’s next.

 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Maintain Merchandising Data Accuracy: Support the team in managing product data across systems and documents, ensuring accuracy from seasonal buy through execution.
  • Assist with Inventory Management: Manage merchandising samples, including shipping and organizing samples.
  • Support Team Presentations: Prepare samples for merchandising meetings and product presentations, and learn about content creation for IMBR, MBR, Weekly Business Review, and Quarterly Meltdown. 
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Attend Merchandising store visits.
  • Contribute to Insights & Strategy: Analyze global and regional selling trends, support market research, and track style changes to inform merchandising decisions and strategy.


Qualifications:

  • Completed or currently pursuing a BA, BSc, BBA, BComm in Retail or Merchandising Management (or equivalent) 
  • Retail experience is highly desirable
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Financial acumen and understanding of retail math
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently manage data entry
  • Effective communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with the ability to navigate ambiguity, multitask in a fast-paced environment, and respond flexibly to changing business needs
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks to meet deadlines
  • Open to feedback and committed to continuous learning and growth

Additional Notes
Authorization to work in Hong Kong is required for this role. 

 

Workplace arrangement

This role is classified as Hybrid under our SSC Workplace Policy.


Hybrid: In-person collaboration is important, and much of the role can be performed remotely. Work is performed onsite at least 4 days per week.
