Global Networks and Infrastructure is responsible for the design, engineering, and day‑to‑day operations of the core network and infrastructure platforms that keep our business running. The team is highly focused on resilience, reliability, scalability, security, and cost optimization—ensuring our environments are stable, performant, and ready to evolve with business demand. We run and continuously modernize advanced platforms across our footprint, partnering closely with product and engineering teams to deliver foundational capabilities and a dependable, secure experience for guests and educators.
core responsibilities
As a Principal Engineer, you will define technical vision and drive implementation approaches for major organizational technology initiatives, leveraging deep technical expertise to shape how the organization builds and operates technology at scale including engineering practices, implementation approaches, and technical investments. You will collaborate closely with architects on company-wide technical architecture providing deep technical expertise on implementation feasibility and operational implications, serve as advisor across the organization on complex technical challenges, and wear multiple hats including hands-on engineer, technical coordinator, and thought leader. You will mentor and develop senior engineering leaders building organizational capability, influence organizational direction through technical insights on implementation approaches, and represent the organization externally through conference presentations and engineering community involvement. This role may require availability outside of standard business hours, including on‑call support, based on business needs.

compensation and benefits package
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $205,600 - $269,900 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and equity offerings, subject to program eligibility requirements.
