The Global Packaging and Labelling team is responsible for planning, designing, developing, testing, and producing end-to-end packaging and labels. We work in close partnership with cross-functional teams across the business and partners throughout supply chain. We meet the needs of our product, guests, markets and channels in order to achieve our strategic priorities and business goals. We ensure packaging and labelling materials are production ready and support successful product delivery.



core responsibilities 

Reporting to Director, Global Packaging & Labelling, the Program Manager, Packaging & Labelling is responsible for program management of Global Brand Packaging; end-to-end commercialization of global and regional packaging materials from concept to production-ready assets. Global Brand Packaging category scope includes all end-to-end brand packaging touchpoints including but not limited to: Shoppers, Gift cards, Seeding kits, Ecomm/Fulfillment Packaging


 Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct high-impact, cross-functional programs, including defining strategic program charters, implementation frameworks, business requirements, and go-live and sustainment phases.
  • Utilize deep expertise in people, processes, and technology to identify business needs, assess current state capabilities, and design innovative, scalable solutions for packaging and labelling.
  • Drive alignment across program work streams, orchestrating efforts from project managers, packaging designers and developers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional workshops, delivering updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and global partners.
  • Oversee and drive transformative packaging and labelling processes, from current-state assessment through design, implementation, and operationalization, and establish tools to monitor and improve process performance.
  • Partner with stakeholders to create and apply organizational design principles, including frameworks, RACIs, and role clarity to ensure program cohesion.
  • Deliver comprehensive program updates and insights to cross-functional partners and senior leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Manage and optimize the Packaging and Labelling Operating Calendar to streamline project timelines and resource allocation.
  • Foster an inclusive, high-performance environment, enabling team members to develop professionally and exceed performance expectations.



qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, , or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Minimum 5+ years in packaging/print media production, creative/manufacturing operations, or related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in program management, strategic operations, or relevant field, with a proven record of delivering transformative programs
  • Strong leadership skills with experience collaborating with high-performing team members, and vendor partners
  • PMP certification is an asset; additional advanced certifications in program management are advantageous
  • Proficiency in PowerBI is an asset to support strategic data visualization & insights
  • Mastery in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel capabilities, and expertise in project management tools (Smartsheet preferred)
  • Extensive experience leading complex, multi-stream programs, with a strong track record in developing project charters, delivery plans, and in coordinating large-scale change and training efforts
  • Exceptional multitasking abilities, with a strong focus on detail, organization, and accuracy
  • Proven ability to engage and influence cross-functional partners, subject matter experts, and leadership to achieve alignment and solve complex business challenges
  • Advanced knowledge of retail and packaging lifecycle terminology and best practices
  • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to evaluate financial impacts on long-term plans and make sound financial recommendations
  • Strategic problem-solving capabilities for operational challenges and long-range planning
  • Demonstrated excellence in data management and document design, with extensive experience in crafting project charters, implementation plans, and comprehensive business requirements
  • Advanced process design skills to optimize program effectiveness
  • Flexibility to accommodate meetings across multiple time zones, supporting global project teams

Compensation and Benefits Package 
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $103,500-$135,900annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
