about this team

The Senior Analyst, Global Trade Optimization is a critical position that supports the broader Global Fulfillment’s trade strategy, decision making, and operational performance improvements.

 

core responsibilities

The senior analyst will be helping to drive technology, data, and reporting requirements and development to support the overall optimization of the trade function. The role requires a strong understanding of our operational systems, internal and external processes and a high technical ability to manage the critical intersection of data and operations in order to support global trade operations, process improvements and financial transparency & reporting.

  • Point person for business needs and general expertise related to RMS Trade Solution
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across multiple systems and sources.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate trade risks through data-driven insights.
  • Manages data issues across the operational systems and investigates with our technology partners 
  • Provides input to Trade technology team from a business perspective for solutions regarding data and systems issues (RMS, ODS)
  • Builds dashboards and reporting related to global trade compliance needs using python, SQL and other data querying, modelling and manipulation skills, not limited to;
  • Duty deferral and duty owed reconciliations, including monthly financial impact analysis related to looping and no reconciliation transactions
  • Audit-required reconciliation on trade entries, including building and maintaining daily entry reconciliation, at line level / sku level 
  • Build out of automated scrubbing tools related to classification data and data flows, 
  • Creation of data processes to enable efficiencies for the compliance team in classification work,
  • Supports trade compliance classification work in reconciliation of HTS and other trade attribute data flows throughout all internal systems (IP, RMS, WMS, EV, ODS)

 

qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field - Supply Chain/Operations, Business, Analytics, etc. 
  • 5+ years business or technical experience, preferably with background in supply chain or trade
  • Advanced Excel skills 
  • Python
  • PowerBI or related visualization tools
  • Advanced SQL
  • Strong analytics skills with ability to conduct both financial and operational modelling 
  • Strong project management skills – ability to balance multiple projects at once
  • Highly adaptable to working under various conditions/environments 
  • Familiarity with supply chain systems (ERP, TMS, GTS, or customs software) and international trade concepts (tariffs, HS classification, compliance) is highly desirable.

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $81,500 - $107,000annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
