About this team
As a member of People & Culture (P&C) Business Partnering team in Asia Pacific, you have the chance to work with a passionate, fun, warm and efficient team, as well as to lead a diverse retail P&C team with the unique lululemon value and culture. As a key member of Market Leadership Team to support the Market Director, to provide reliable, professional and fun experience to business stakeholders while keeping up pace with business operational needs. You play a critical role in connecting regional & global fellows to localize programs and initiatives to meet the market business needs.
A day in the life
- Partner with leaders across three distinct markets to drive people strategies aligned to long-term business objectives, translating business priorities into market-appropriate P&C solutions while ensuring enterprise alignment (including workforce planning and Open to Hire).
- Lead, coach, and develop P&C members supporting multiple markets, ensuring consistent yet locally compliant P&C service delivery in complex regulatory environments.
- Apply deep commercial, organizational, and regulatory understanding to diagnose people risks and opportunities across multiple jurisdictions, delivering proactive talent solutions covering productivity, engagement, skills development, attraction, retention, rewards, and recognition.
- Activate global and regional talent frameworks (performance management, career development, succession planning) with the right level of market differentiation to reflect varying legal, cultural, and business contexts.
- Advise and influence leaders across markets on organization design, workforce structure, leadership capability, and performance management, ensuring decisions consider jurisdictional, cultural, and employee relations implications.
- Lead change management for multi-market transformations, assessing cross-market impacts, managing risk, and partnering with stakeholders to ensure successful and compliant implementation.
- Oversee employee engagement, culture, and inclusion outcomes across three markets, monitoring pulse and cultural indicators and guiding leaders on market-specific action plans.
- Partner closely with key cross-functional teams (Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Health & Wealth, Legal, FP&A, Payroll, People Practices) to deliver cohesive solutions across hiring, rewards cycles, benefits, investigations, and complex people movements.
- Ensure strong governance, compliance, and employee relations management across multiple jurisdictions, balancing legal requirements, internal policies, and consistent application of company standards.
- Drive operational excellence and localization discipline, ensuring accurate execution of people processes, Workday data integrity, and the appropriate balance between global consistency and market-specific needs.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Business (Human Resources Management or Organisational Psychology) Degree
- 10+ years of progressive HR / People & Culture experience in retail or high volume FMCG industries, with significant time spent in a strategic business partner or people leadership role within complex, matrixed organizations
- Demonstrated experience supporting multiple markets or countries, preferably across three or more jurisdictions with materially different labor laws, employment practices and cultural norms
- Proven People leadership experience, including leading, coaching, and developing HR professionals. Previous experience of leading generalist HR functions would be an advantage
- Business acumen – understand business drivers and creates opportunities to connect with business directly to learn about its needs and perspectives and seen as credible functional expert
- Data analysis – can leverage quantitative and qualitative data to enable informed decision making
- Strong communication and presentation skills in PowerPoint with ability to summarize key information, present relevant data to facilitate discussions and decision making
- Relationship building - builds personal relationships of trust and can be relied on to do what is promised
- Consulting & collaboration – skilled at consulting with wide variety of partner types and navigating unchartered territory
- Project management – stakeholder engagement and program execution and change management
- Leadership development – leadership coach and trusted advisor
- Agenda Shaping & influence - proactively shapes the ideas and agendas of stakeholders and credible activism/advocacy
- Two-way advocacy – ability to stand in resistance when required
- Deep working knowledge of employment legislation, employee relations and HR governance with the ability to navigate complex and sometimes conflicting local requirements while maintaining enterprise standards
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
