about this team

We lead driving data-informed decision-making through rigorous experimentation and measurement. We are responsible for establishing and evangelizing best practices in experiment design and advanced statistical measurement, ensuring that marketing initiatives are backed by solid evidence. We directly influence strategic decisions and drive significant business growth by providing clear insights into the causal impact of various interventions. Our expertise in causal inference and experimentation methodologies allows the organization to optimize strategies and achieve measurable results.


a day in the life: what you'll do

  • As a Data Scientist on this team, you will design and analyze complex experiments to understand the causal impact of our initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive framework for experimentation, including A/B testing and multivariate testing.
  • Design and implement advanced statistical techniques for measuring incremental impact and causal inference.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of experiment results, providing clear and actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on experimentation goals and priorities.

 

qualifications

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
  • 5+ years of experience in data science, with a strong focus on experimentation and causal inference
  • Expertise in statistical modeling and causal inference techniques
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Python or R and SQL
  • Strong data visualization and communication skills
  • Deep understanding of A/B testing, multivariate testing, and other experimentation methodologies
  • Proven ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business recommendations
  • Strong understanding of incremental measurement and marketing analytics

Compensation and Benefits Package 
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $123,500 - $162,100annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
