about this team

Reporting to the Senior Manager, P&C Planning & Portfolio Management, this role plays a key role in enabling P&C’s strategic planning and portfolio delivery through budget planning and tracking as well as resource and capacity planning, ensuring alignment with business priorities and financial targets. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly collaborative and brings strong analytical mindset to drive data-informed decisions. 


core responsibilities

Budget Planning & Tracking

  • Partner with Finance and business leads to develop, monitor, and manage annual budgets across the P&C global function. 
  • Work with FP&A to track actuals vs. forecast, identify variances, and provide actionable insights.
  • Support quarterly and annual financial planning cycles, tracking financial timelines and working with cross-functional teams across the portfolio to gather inputs. 
  • Work with FP&A to prepare budget reports and dashboards for leadership review.

Resource & Capacity Planning 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess current and future resource needs.
  • Maintain and optimize resource plans and capacity planning models to support workforce strategy.
  • Analyze utilization trends, conduct detailed variance analysis to compare actual results against budget, forecast, or prior periods and recommend adjustments to improve efficiency.
  • Support scenario planning and workforce modeling to inform strategic decisions.

Operational Support & Reporting

  • Develop and maintain P&C operational metrics and KPIs to monitor performance and value realization.
  • Create and automate reporting tools to streamline data analysis and decision-making.
  • Support ad hoc analysis and strategic initiatives led by the Senior Manager.


qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in operations, financial planning or business analysis.
  • Experience with budgeting tools and workforce planning systems is an asset.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations. 
  • General understanding of P&C functional areas, operating models, and workforce planning principles.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and data visualization or dashboard tools (e.g. PowerBI, ServiceNow), building models and dashboards to support strategic decision making. 
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills, including materials development for stakeholder / executive audiences. 
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Passion for solving complex problems with data and driving operational effectiveness and efficiency.

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from CAD $66,000 – $86,600 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and, subject to program eligibility requirements.
