The EMEA Digital Marketing Team exists to define and execute the digital strategy for customer acquisition and retention. Our goal is to drive omni-channel sales for our European business and grow our community. We utilise a range of acquisition channels including Search, Affiliate & Influencer Marketing, Paid Media and Email to deliver elevated digital experiences, drive purchase and engage beyond transactions. We’re continually diversifying and optimising our digital marketing channel mix and target markets to reach new guests, increase brand awareness and drive efficient business growth. 

 

a day in the life: what you’ll do


The Paid Search Specialist supports the day‑to‑day execution and maintenance of EMEA Paid Search campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, delivering accurate campaign builds, keyword and ad copy uploads, pacing checks, and bid adjustments under the guidance of the Paid Search Manager and Paid Search Lead. They also monitor performance, prepare reports, and surface initial optimisation opportunities, escalating strategic recommendations where needed.

·       Support accurate campaign builds and ongoing maintenance across EMEA Search and Shopping formats within Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising including launching campaigns, uploading keywords, negatives, ads, and extensions ensuring all activity aligns with best practices and strategic direction.

·       Execute day‑to‑day optimisation tasks such as bid adjustments, keyword updates, and negative keyword additions within agreed guardrails, maintaining efficient and effective campaign performance.

·       Monitor daily performance and budget pacing, flagging anomalies, risks, or delivery issues to the Paid Search Manager and Lead.

·       Pull, organise, and format performance reports for internal reviews and strategic discussions.

·       Conduct regular QA checks to ensure campaign setups align with platform best practices and that tracking is functioning correctly.

·       Support testing initiatives by setting up experiments, monitoring results, and compiling outputs for analysis.

 

qualifications


·       2+ years of experience in Paid Search or digital marketing executional roles.

·       Hands-on experience activating and managing Paid Search campaigns and bid strategies ideally within a Retail context across multiple European markets.

·       Familiarity with tools such as Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, SA360, Google Merchant Centre and Google Analytics.

·       Expertise utilising Excel, Google Sheets, Looker Studio, or other analytics/reporting tools.

·       Experience setting up basic experiments or contributing to structured testing plans.

·       Experience activating and maintaining Paid Search campaigns within Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, utilizing different campaign types including Search and Shopping formats.

·       Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes accurately.

·       Good understanding of bidding, pacing, keywords, and ad copy best practices.

·       Reliably monitors budgets, paces performance, and implements aligned account changes.

·       Comfortable analysing performance data and identifying anomalies or initial optimisation opportunities.

·       Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) for data handling and reporting.

·       Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and operate effectively in a fast‑paced environment.

·       A proactive and collaborative mindset, with a willingness to learn from senior team members.
