about this team:

The Global Brand Management team is responsible for setting lululemon's brand vision and ensuring it comes to life with clarity and consistency across all categories, channels, and regions. Brand Planning will sit at the core of this team - developing and aligning lululemon's global brand plan, creative platforms, storytelling strategy, and marketing investment. This team works cross-functionally to drive integration, operational focus, and cultural impact.


a day in the life:

As the Senior Director, Brand Planning, you will:

  • Lead the development of lululemon’s annual and seasonal global brand plans, aligning cross-functional teams to a unified roadmap.
  • Define and steward 365-day brand storytelling initiatives, including brand identity and product superiority frameworks.
  • Guide the development of global creative platforms and seasonal campaign briefs in partnership with Creative, Product, and Channel teams.
  • Partner with Finance and Brand Leadership to create, align, and optimize total brand investment strategy.
  • Prioritize and manage internal and external agency workstreams to focus on high-impact projects.
  • Partner with the VP, Global Brand Management to drive GBM OKRs and performance tracking.
  • Lead and develop a growing team of brand planning professionals, while cultivating operational excellence.

 

qualifications:

  • 12–15 years of experience in brand strategy, marketing planning, or brand operations in a global or matrixed organization.
  • Proven success leading annual and seasonal brand planning cycles and campaign roadmaps.
  • Deep understanding of how to connect brand identity, creative platforms, product storytelling, and marketing investment.
  • Ability to manage complex cross-functional projects and agency relationships.
  • Skilled at strategic thinking, operational planning, and cross-functional communication.
  • Strong analytical mindset with creative judgment and storytelling instincts.
  • Passion for lululemon’s brand, culture, and purpose.

compensation and benefits package:

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $179,700 - 235,800 USDannually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and equity offerings, subject to program eligibility requirements.
